Burn Down The Disco - 90s v 00s Special on Saturday 20th January 2018

Music Policy

Are you a 90s kid? Did you have long scraggly hair, wear a lumberjack shirt and rock out to grunge? Did you flick your fringe during Britpop and say 'Pulp' whenever anyone asked you if you 'Oasis or Blur?' or were you at one of the legendary Knebworth gigs?

Or were you a 00s kid who taped your skinny to be like Pete & Carl or grew a bob haircut and ripped your tights trying to emulate Karen O? Do you remember when Razorlight were once cool?

Either way its time to come together as we celebrate the best music from the 90s and the 00s.

Expect to hear 90s bangers from the likes of Nirvana, Oasis, Blur, Weezer, Pulp, PJ Harvey, Suede, James, The Stone Roses, Placebo, Manic Street Preachers, Supergrass and more from the decade that brought us Grunge, Britpop, Euro 96 and erm…Stereophonics and Travis.

And in the blue corner, the saviours of 00s indie from The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, The White Stripes, Kings Of Leon, Interpol, The Cribs, The Gossip, Maximo Park, Bloc Party and more classics from the last decade.

Of course, we'll also be slipping in the odd classic from other decades so expect the odd Bowie, The Smiths, The Cure, Blossoms, The Vaccines, Joy Division thrown in too.

Music Genres:

60s, Alternative, Indie, Rock & Roll, Ska
