Celebrating 50 Years of Led Zeppelin in London! on Thursday 18th October 2018

CODA – a Tribute to Led Zeppelin are proud to be celebrating 50 years of Led Zeppelin with this special show at O'Neill's in Wardour Street on Thursday 18th October 2018.

Almost 50 years ago, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham got together for the first time at a rehearsal studio in Gerrard Street, just a stone's throw from the venue, in August 1968. The first song they played together was Train Kept A-Rollin, and the rest is history, the band that was Led Zeppelin eventually going on to be arguably the most successful and influential rock band of all time.

Their first public engagements were a tour of Scandinavia, billed as the New Yardbirds, and then they returned to the UK to play their first show here on 4th October at the Mayfair Ballroom in Newcastle. They then debuted the new band in London at the Marquee Club, Wardour Street, on October 18th 1968.

CODA are playing their show, in celebration of that debut London performance, at O'Neill's, Wardour Street, formerly the historic Flamingo Club, and will be showcasing the whole range of Led Zeppelin's music, from the early Blues songs to their acoustic material, the heavy rockers and the awesome showstoppers!

Whilst the band have captured the sound, look and essence of Led Zeppelin as much as possible, this is no theatrical performance, but a distillation of the magic, power and excitement of the legends of rock, played live and loud and without a safety net! Featuring incredible replica instruments as well as fantastic, hand-made costumes, this show will take you back to the time when Gods really did walk the earth!

Read what people have been saying about the CODA experience:

'Not really a cover band, more a reincarnation. I was utterly dumbstruck when I
saw them. If I hadn't already got tickets I'd get them just to see this band again.
Incredible band, they really have to be seen to be believed.'

'The sound, the look, and most importantly the 'feel' is true Zeppelin. Pure class.'

'CODA! Guys what can I say?! Outstanding! Can't wait for the next one!'

'U guys rocked. Great night at the Mick Jagger Centre'

'Just been to your gig at the Mick Jagger Centre, Dartford. Excellent set, really
enjoyed it. Nice one boys.'

'Definitively the best cover band I have ever seen. Clearly a lot of time and
devotion has been given to the great, original Led Zeppelin members, and their
music, epitomising them in every way. I'm blown away and will be travelling
far and wide to follow this band! Rock on!'

'Hi guys, just wanted to say thanks for an absolutely awesome show in Brighton
this evening. I'm the guy who stood in front of Peter the whole evening with my
15 year old daughter. It was her first ever gig and she totally loved it too.
Unsurprisingly my first gig was Zeppelin at Knebworth and dare I say you were
better! As a massive Zephead I found your performance and attention to detail
totally flawless. I'm still not convinced I wasn't watching the real Jonesy, even
down to the dimple! With all the best tributes you also bring your own
personality, charm and character. I have just read your back story on your
website and hats off to you Simon for your perseverance, you really have
created the ultimate Zeppelin tribute act, long may it continue.
This is Led Zeppelin done properly. They really nail the 'feel' as well as the

'The best Led Zepp tribute band on the circuit at the moment...... CODA'

'Saw Coda last night at a sold out show in Eastbourne they were awesome great
