The music was brilliant, especially towards the middle of the night. The crowd were also brilliant. However, queuing for over an hour is unacceptable as was no water. The dancefloor was extremely difficult to navigate, due to its size and if you needed to get across, it was tricky. The bars shutting early was a mystery and the night finishing early was unimpressive. I would have also preferred more variety in beers and lagers on tap.

The event was fantastic, but the venue was lacking. I'm of the firm opinion that they shut off the water to close the venue early. Very underhand of the club and totally out of the hands of the Love Muscle team.

Venue was a real let down. Over an hour late opening, 1.5 hours queue to get in, 30 minutes to put coats in, closed 2 hours early due to Water issues? Heavy handed security kept going on stage ruining the atmosphere. Bars shut 2.5 hours before the event was due to end.

Music was amazing. Hated the venue. Rude, intrusive security staff, ridiculously hot dance floor, too small and no water although not their fault. Move back to the fridge brixton.

The venue was totally unsuitable for the crowd. The dance floor was way too small for the amount of people there to dance. The fact we were made to queue outside for even longer because the opening time was put back an hour was very annoying. The queue for the coat check ridiculous. The whole debacle of the "no water in King's Cross" and throwing us out 2 hours early was ridiculous and to top it off we then had to queue for ages to get out of the place. God help us if there was an emergency and we had to get out quick! The layout of the club just didn't work.

Total shambles. Opened an hour late. Queued in the cold for 2 hours without an explanation or an apology. Very rude and aggressive security who literally could not speak a single word of English.
Hopeless, disorganized coatcheck getting in and out.
Closed early due to no running water in the toilets. Completely disgusting.
My card was declined at the bar for insufficient funds for a large order and the server didn't even notice so I took the drinks and walk off. Ha...
Awful!!! Avoid.

I love Love Muscle went almost every weekend when it was at the fridge in the 90s and 2000s. We queued for an hour and a half to get in the venue not happy about that. The venue was to small for this event it was crowded and then it ended 2 hours early due to lack of water. I hope if this happens again it will be in a better venue or at least better organized.
However I still enjoyed it

The event was so much fun. A reunion of Love Muscle goers. Music was uplifting high energy camp, fun, fun, fun. Pity about the venue. Too small,too crowded, with 1000 people in a 600 capacity space, heavy handed security, overpriced poor quality drinks. Drink supplies ran out and then to top it all off the mains water was somehow cut off meaning no flushing toilets or hand washing facilities and no water at the bars. This led to the club closing 2 hours earlier. Love Muscle itself was great but needs to be back at the Fridge (Electric Brixton) which has a 1700 capacity. All the problems were Lafayette's, not a good venue choice. But looking forward to the next Love Muscle, hopefully in a much better venue.

Had to Que for one hour and half to get in. Was not impressed. Put me a bad mood for the rest of the night.

What a fantastic club, it was easy to find & get into; the toilets were immaculate & plentiful.
The atmosphere was just like the old Fridge nightclub, so lots of fun & dancing!
Hope there'll be another Love Muscle night soon, we're up for that.

The crew did a great job of recreating the Love Muscle of the 1990s, but in a much more swish venue. Wonderful evening enjoying the music of the period with so many old friends (in both senses of the expression!). Lafayette is beautiful, drinks are good and service is prompt. Shame about the major balls-up which saw the doors open at 11pm instead of the advertised 10pm which gave the evening a sour start.

Ticket advertised this event as 10.00 - 05.00. We queued for more than one hour before the doors opened. The venue closed at 04.00 not at 05.00 as advertised. Venue was okay, music so so, crowd was great, staff were polite, efficient, bar prices were steep! Not going back

Oh dear oh dear - it seems like the organisers have completely forgotten how to run a successful gay night.

Badly organised and late to open leading to HUGE queues to get in. Massive wait to check in coats from disinterested staff. Too many people asmitted so the dance floor was impossible to move in . And then the water packed up so the place had to close after just three hours, followed by a DANGEROUS and scary crush to get coats anD leave

The queue to get in was a shambles, some people had to wait over an hour, had to show ID as well as the ticket, and from where I was standing it was a just organised chaos from start to finish

Queued for an hour as they had tech problems at the start of the night. Ran out of cider early in the night, there was no running water in the venue half way through the night (in the toilets, bars, etc) and, I'm assuming as a result, they had to close the venue 90 minutes early.

We had to queue for 1 hr to get in and 30 mins for coat check. Then the venue kicked us out at 4pm because they had no water because of a burst water pipe in King's Cross and they stop serving alcohol at 3pm.
