Club de Fromage - Dirty Dancing 30th Anniversary Party on Saturday 19th August 2017

It’s practically 30 years to the day since Dirty Dancing hit movie theatres around the world and immediately went down in history as the ultimate chick-flick. Not one to be impartial to the odd girlie film, Slow Alfie has insisted on honouring this landmark anniversary with a Dirty Dancing special at Fromage!

We’ll be transforming the venue into a scaled down budget Kellerman’s resort and our team of Poundshop Dirty Dancers will be guiding you through the best tunes from the movie’s soundtrack all whilst simultaneously carrying watermelons.

As usual, anyone in fancy dress gets to jump the queue, and we’ll be giving away a meat pie in our world-famous raffle as well as looking for an air guitar hero fromthe crowd to join us onstage and we might even throw our own little end-of-season talent show to find if anyone can sing “Hula-Hana” worse than Lisa Houseman. Either way we’re sure you’ll have “the time of your life” (Sorry – Ed.) just please don’t attempt “the lift” in the crowd.

Music Policy:

We’ll be spinning all those hits from the movie such as (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life, Hungry Eyes, Be My Baby, Do You Love Me, Hey! Baby, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and She’s Like The Wind as well as the usual classic pop and rock from the last 50 years including Bon Jovi, Britney, Taylor Swift, Backstreet Boys, Elton John, Charli XCX, Abba, Bruno Mars, Spice Girls, Will Smith, MJ, Blur, One Direction, Katy Perry, The Killers, Queen, Take That and much, much more.

Door Policy:

Patrick Swayze masks, 60s dresses, black vests or just bring a water melon, anyone in fancy dress jumps to the front of the queue.
