Stage One with Nick Muir November party

Stage One are back at our spiritual home, The Horse and Groom Shoreditch, for another rip roaring installment of all things progressive house….. We have the pleasure in welcoming back Nick Muir after his sublime set last time around. He really took the roof off, which you can hear on our Soundcloud page below. To describe Nick Muir's influence dance music as seminal would be an understatement. Active since the early 90s, it was then he teamed up with John Digweed to form Bedrock that he gained prominence. He has continued to write, produce and DJ ever since, performing internationally on a regular basis to ecstatic crowds. It's a real honour and privilege to have him headline at our event… but we haven’t stopped there people... !

Adding to the headline acts this time around will be Erik Bruce. Erik’s sound is fluid yet unmistakably his own. His DJ sets move seamlessly between deep house, progressive trance, atmospheric breaks, and driving techno — built on a foundation of lush textures, haunting melodies, and tightly wound grooves. As a producer, Erik brings the same storytelling sensibility into the studio. His productions have caught the ears of a diverse group of global tastemakers, earning support from legends such as Nick Warren, Umek, Cristian Varela, and Meat Katie. With releases on respected imprints like Lowering the Tone, Prognosis, Krafted Records, AH Digital, Gibbon Records, and Wight Label Records, Erik has built a discography that balances depth, energy, and emotional resonance. Rounding things off we have resident DJs Grant McKay and Industry Standard warming things up with their journey through the multi faceted face of house and techno. For this event we will be taking over the ground floor of the Horse and Groom, with extra capacity, enhanced lighting and visuals plus an even more banging sound system - a must for lovers of big sounding underground house music!
