Nye 2018 on Monday 31st December 2018
THE place to sign off 2018 in carnival style with an almighty NYE party with a full fat line up of live acts and DJs, Hootananny will be ushering in the new year with a genre-spanning night of straight up party music, hard-hitting grooves and all round festive vibes!
ELECTRIC SWING CIRCUS will be propelling us into 2019 in unbelievable style, with their pumped up vintage sounds rewound! A powerful combination of vintage samples, electro beats, gypsy-jazz guitar, electric double bass, keys, live drums and dirty synths, fronted by an engaging female double-act, Electric Swing Circus deliver a consistently dazzling show.
Brass heavy, 11-piece party-starter band FULL TILT will also be shaking down the Hoot playing an eclectic range of genres, including funk, soul, rock, reggae, ska, hip-hop, and drum and bass to have you groovin' all night long.
Keeping things going before and after JIMI NEEDLES and COUNT BASSY are never short of beats to make you move your feet, from Latin to Afro via Reggae, Hip-Hop, Drum'n'Bass and beyond! With impeccable selections and masterful turntablism their sets are always something to behold.
Combined with the world famous Hootananny Brixton's super fun indoor outdoor set up with giant beer garden and delicious food stalls, confetti cannons and special surprises, all is set for the biggest and baddest party of year!
