Los Maderos // Live Latin Fusion on Sunday 8th December 2019
For this one we have a full house with all members of the collective taking to the stage at this epic, eclectic, East London venue. And for those of you that haven't met us yet ...
Los Maderos are an upbeat Latin fusion collective performing an eclectic blend of Latin, jazz, Gypsy music and pop. They move from new flamenco through to Bossa Novas, Rumbas, Santana and even incorporate some alternative pop. Think Paco Lucia meets Astrud Gilberto!
Leading this charming band is classically trained Jazz-Fusion-Flamenco guitarist and songwriter Andres Miranda. Undeniably influenced by new flamenco guitarist Paco Lucia Andres’s playing style will stun you with incredible control, passion, duende and effortless creativity.
Joining Andres is vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Kate Thomas who began her career in Italian Opera and has since travelled the world performing in many different languages and genres that include: jazz, latin & gypsy music. Kate's powerful voice will hold you in her palmas flamencas and her charisma and encouragement of audience interaction will keep you there!
On Bass we have Conor Cotterill whose versatile and soulful playing style has meant that he is now in high demand across London and beyond! A place where earthy grooves meet Rock & Roll!
On Trumpet we have Dom Clark. Undoubtedly influenced by jazz greats such as Miles Davis and Lee Morgan, Dom will not only take you on a soulful journey but with his consistent work with funk and reggae bands from across London and beyond he will put that all important fire in your belly!
And finally providing that earth-shaking rhythm is Venezuelan drummer and percussionist Enmanuel Moreno working alongside his amigo and long time fellow percussionist Jason Gollop together this duo will get your pulse, feet and body moving!
This is going to be one electric evening that you are not going to want to miss!
