The Science of Magic Mushrooms with Dr. Chris Timmermann on Tuesday 7th March 2023
Magic Mushrooms are leading the current psychedelic renaissance as they may unlock key questions to understand the mind, treat depression and increase wellbeing. Join Dr. Chris Timmermann, from the Centre for Psychedelic Research, as we explore the avenues of the psychedelic revolution in mental health and the pharmacology of psilocybin.
Doors open at 6.15pm, talk starts at 7pm and is followed by a Q&A - Come down early to grab a drink and a good seat!

Christopher Timmermann (PhD) is a neuroscientist and psychologist from Santiago, Chile and based at the Centre for Psychedelic Research in Imperial College London, where he conducted the first neuroimaging studies on the effects of the potent psychedelic, DMT. His work focuses on the neuroscience, psychology, beliefs and ethics of the psychedelic experience.
