Des Was a Bowie Fan is a London clubnight founded in 2013 at the Tutu's nightclub on the Strand. It has since played out residencies at East End venues Jamboree, The George Tavern and Paper Dress Vintage, creating feral and ageless Pop dancing havens for lovers and dreamers. Guest DJs at the club in its London carnation have included Eddie Argos of Art Brut, Darren Hayman of John Peel favourites Hefner, and feminist author and post-punk musician Helen McCookerybook.
