Egg presents: Marco Faraone, Victor Ruiz, Rudosa and More on Saturday 2nd June 2018
After years of dedication and fine-tuning of his craft, Victor Ruiz is becoming one of São Paulo’s most celebrated electronic artists. Ruiz has a sound which ‘serves straight from the soul’ and has won over a huge following spanning North America, Europe and the U.S since embarking on a series of world tours after a successive slew of releases on Senso Sounds, Tronic, Octopus Records and lots more over the years. Interpreting his Brazilian roots in his own way through dance music, Ruiz fuses together emotive elements of sound to result in a contemporary, futuristic and utterly captivating experience behind the decks.
Marco Faraone is a Tuscan producer and selector who has been immersed in world music since the 80’s. With a wealth of knowledge stemming all the way back to his grandfather’s folk band right up to discovering 90’s house championed by Laurent Garnier, it comes as no surprise that a set with Faraone is vibrant, engaging and carefully curated to suit any audience big or small. Covering big room anthems to pounding, relentless techno rhythms, Faraone has rightfully earned the status of a multifaceted, versatile artist who’s highly in demand on the global dance music realm.
Rudosa joins Ruiz, an emerging Manchester based producer who’s been active on the UK’s electronic scene since 2008. A previous Sankeys Manchester resident, Rudosa’s deft mixing skills and pummelling selections of well rounded, powerful productions have earned him support from the likes of Amelie Lens, Sam Paganini and lots more. Certainly, one to keep an eye on this year.
Music Genres: House, Techno
