The Bug presents Pressure on Friday 11th October 2019
London’s most renowned warehouse space, E1, remains at the forefront of boundary pushing electronic music. And on the 11th of October, genre defining artist, The Bug, will be continuing in this vein, bringing his iconic conceptual event, Pressure, to E1.
For such an occasion, The Bug will be performing both a live set as well as a DJ set with the legendary Flowdan and the incredible Miss Red. Those in the know will be aware that to see The Bug in a club setting, performing both types of sets, is a once in a blue moon opportunity. The Warehouse will also lay host to a special back-to-back from Goth Trad and JK Flash, as well as a solo set from one of the dub genres most eponymous artists: Kahn. Grandmixer completes the lineup, rounding off the bill with an impeccable quality that showcases the dynamic brilliance of the 140 genre.
Both The Warehouse and The Black Studio will be in full operation for this event. The latter, the 650 capacity dark room, will be hosted by Vivek’s iconic club night System. Vivek will be joined bu Dubstep mainstay Loefah will be providing his take on the no-holds-barred 140 genre, Commodo, Dego Ranking and System Roots
Such a lineup caters for all bass music enthusiasts. Hard, heavy, gritty productions fall under The Bug’s conceptual project: Pressure. The title is indicative of exactly what can be expected from such a momentous occasion: seismic productions from the 140 genre, showcased on the capital’s leading sound systems, with a lineup curated by the genres standout veterans: The Bug.
