Teeth 'n' Smiles at Duke of York's Theatre, London, is the 50th anniversary revival of David Hare's play, starring Rebecca Lucy Taylor (Self Esteem). It centres on Maggie Frisby, once a voice of 1960s counterculture and now broke and disillusioned, as a band’s youthful dreams of rebellion fall apart.
The play follows Maggie through a night fuelled by booze, fury and a voice that refuses to die. Written by David Hare, it returns to the stage with original music and revisits the production that first ran at The Royal Court 50 years ago.
