Shesaid.so X Skiddle Womxn Festival Manager Bootcamp on Saturday 28th - Sunday 29th March 2020

Please note, this event has been postponed until 17th Oct 2020.

shesaid.so London teamed up with Skiddle to run the first Festival Manager bootcamp. The two-day training event has been specifically designed for womxn who want to embark on a new role in music festival management. Fast-paced and covering lots of ground in all aspects of the industry, the bootcamp offers the opportunity to work on real-life management problems, in a supportive and totally confidential environment, with advice and guidance provided by leading industry professionals. It will increase your understanding of the manager's role, and leave you with a development plan for gaining further management skills.

Shesaid.so built the first community of women in music that connects members from all industry sectors, worldwide, from music professionals who are decision makers in their fields, to promising young talent. We take pride in having built a safe and authentic space where all women and non-binary people in music are welcome. That's why each one of our members has been carefully curated to ensure all our members share our values and ethos, and actively participate in the community. The music industry is vastly dominated by men in a majority of sectors, and grows exponentially as you climb up the career ladder or in technical roles. We are raising awareness of the gender gap and lobby for policy change that promotes gender equality, diversity and inclusion Skiddle is a primary ticketing outlet and the UK’s biggest what’s on guide.

Skiddle has an 18 year history in ticketing and promoting, selling for and supporting both large and grassroots festivals across the UK and Europe such as Parklife, Creamfields, Belladrum, Lovebox, AMP Presents Lost & Found and many more. Not a big faceless corporation, Skiddle is proud to be independent. With large teams across Account Management, Account Support and Customer Care, Skiddle aims for fewer queues. Fewer touts. Getting more festivals to real fans who deserve a better experience. Skiddle will be talking around ticketing at the bootcamp, but if you have any questions over the 2 days, they will have Account Managers on hand to advise on anything from ticketing to marketing your events.
