This year's theme
For writers and publishers, the 21st century so far has been shaped by dramatic upheavals, and the rate of change is only escalating. The City Lit Festival of Writing is a space for writers to attend lectures and put their questions to agents, authors, journalists, poets and publishing insiders. Guest speakers and panellists will explore topics including the transformative power of digital publishing and self-publishing; the flourishing market of short fiction, subjects inspiring poets in the 21st Century and what the fate of journalism will be in an age of fake news and falling revenues. Visit our website for a full list of lectures & speakers.
Anyone with an interest in contemporary fiction, journalism and the publishing industry is very welcome. No prior knowledge is required.
