The Chiswick Playhouse is a 90 seat theatre in the heart of Chiswick. We constantly strive to provide our audiences thrilling live entertainment of a quality you’d expect in a venue many times bigger. Since we opened in 1985 we have been a breeding ground for the next generation of creatives who offer new work as well as reimagined classics. We complement our main programme of plays and musicals with a rich offering of cabaret, concerts and comedy.
We believe that theatre at its best creates joy as well as understanding, and with that in mind we aim to create work that sometimes provokes, sometimes reveals and always entertains. We believe that theatre has a crucial role to tell the stories that are underrepresented in society. We strive to give a platform to diverse artists and perspectives to enrich our lives.
