Beethoven String Quartet no 10 in E Flat major op 74 'Harp'

In the fourth concert in this series, Tippett’s fourth string quartet is paired with a complementary quartet by Beethoven, showing the influence of the earlier composer on Tippett’s work.

One of London 's best-kept secrets, the theatre was designed by Sir Hugh Casson and is named after Benjamin Britten, a former student of the RCM. In the style of an Italian opera theatre with proscenium arch, orchestra pit and full fly system, the theatre has excellent technical facilities and the hire includes the use of four theatre dressing rooms.
