GAME SET MATCH. WIMBLEDON HITS THE BIG SCREEN AT BATTERSEA POWER on Thursday 4th - Sunday 14th July 2019

Those looking for the perfect spot to watch all the action this Wimbledon fortnight whilst soaking up the beautiful British sunshine need look no further. Between 1st – 14th July, Battersea Power Station will be hosting free outdoor screenings of the tournament on Circus West Village’s riverwalk, the first chapter of the London landmark’s regeneration and one of the capital’s most exciting riverside destinations.

The eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and shops now open at Circus West Village will be serving up a quintessentially British experience throughout the two weeks. Tennis fans can pull up a deck chair and enjoy strawberries and cream with a cold glass of Pimm’s from No.29 Power Station West, a spicy Indian twist on this summertime drink at Cinnamon Kitchen, fresh oysters and a refreshing Aperol Spritz from Wright Brothers, delicious ice cream from Archlight Cinema’s bespoke cart, as well as many more Wimbledon themed specials.

Wimbledon viewing wouldn’t be the same without a picnic, so a hamper full of goodies awaits spectators at The General Store, which is a stone’s throw from Vagabond Wines – a perfect spot to pick up a carafe of wine before settling down for an afternoon of tennis.

Budding Andy Murray and Johanna Konta fans can even practice their moves on one of the table tennis tables located under Grosvenor Arch at Circus West Village. Traveling to Circus West Village for the screenings couldn’t be easier. Why not hop on board one of the MBNA Thames Clippers River Bus Services to Battersea Power Station pier – only a 15-minute journey from Embankment, 20 minutes from Blackfriars and 40 minutes from Canary Wharf. The riverside destination is also easily accessible by bus, bike, car, train and tube.

Where better to watch world-class tennis than set against the backdrop of Battersea Power Station’s iconic chimneys. Forget sweltering court-side, head to the refreshing riverside for this year’s Wimbledon.
