About

January Blues Festival 2025 presents
SUGARAY RAYFORD
+ special guest support: ERROL LINTON
+ Host/DJ: SNOWBOY

The bluesy soul of Rayford comes on full steam” Q Magazine

"Sings like Otis Redding and Muddy Waters yet can dance like James Brown" Goldmine Magazine

"Think back to, say, the golden days of Chess Records and people like Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters; then factor in the sound of classic soul men like Solomon Burke, Curtis Mayfield, and big-voiced icons like Teddy Pendergrass, and you're getting close to Rayford's sound" Soul, Jazz, and Funk Magazine

Grammy nominated and Blues Music Award Winner Sugaray Rayford announces exclusive London concerts as part of the January Blues Festival.

Texas-born Sugaray Rayford started his career with the award winning group, The Mannish Boys, before going solo to release highly acclaimed albums 'Blind Alley' (2010), 'Dangerous', (2013), 'Southside' (2015), 'The World That We Live In' (2017), 'Somebody Save Me' (2019), 'In Too Deep' (2022) and the latest LP 'Human Decency' (2024).

Special guest support comes from the Errol Linton Band who were winners of the UK Blues Challenge (2024) and nominees at the UK Blues Awards (2023/2024)
