JENNA & THE G'S
Jenna G goes back to her live roots in this 8 piece band covering her past, present and future releases reworked with a lot of Funk, Soul and Bass!
Going back to her live roots veteran bass music vocalist Jenna G has transformed her eclectic releases past, present and future alongside the musical stylings of Manchester's most prolific backing band, 8 Gold Rings. Analog all the way live, played with nothing but love and a whole lot of funk and soul, this is Jenna & The G’s + we truly can't wait to witness the audio carnage on The South London Soul Train Live Stage.
Then on Level 2 - Expect, The Funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk on 45, as Legendary DJ SNOWBOY and BEN GIBSON partner in heavyweight vinyl mayhem to drop it like it’s seriously hot, ALL NIGHT LONG! Dropping the platters that absolutely, positively still matter and wait for the sweat to fall. Soul-brellas highly recommended!
Level 3 - Time to enter The REACH UP DISCO WONDERLAND. Legendary DJ ANDY SMITH + NICK HALKES, CRISSY KYBOSH NICK BAILEY dropping 80’s boogie, soul, funk, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as 'Paradise Garage’ & 'Studio 54’. A night highlighting the sounds that emerged as the 70’s, turned into the 80’s and the DNA of club music as we know it today was being written.
The South London Soul Train 4 Floor Line up completed in the Rye Wax basement - THE HAWAIIAN BOP TRIP. Your retrolicious host RICHIO SUZUKI joined by OSCAR ROMP and tasty 45 slinger FRITZ BUZZSAW take you on an epic strictly retrolicious Rock & Roll, 50's R N' B, 60's Soul & Motown, Vintage Ska & Latin journey from the love side.
