In 2026, Woolton Golf Club will celebrate an incredible milestone – 125 years of golfing history, community spirit, and unforgettable moments. This is more than just a birthday; it’s a chance to honour our past, celebrate our present, and invest in our future.

We want everyone – members, past members, local residents, and friends from far and wide – to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration. And we’ve got something exciting in store…

The 125th Anniversary Fundraiser & Prize Draw

From September 2025, we’re launching a year-long fundraiser with amazing monthly prizes and the chance to make a lasting difference to the club.

Here’s how it works:

£10 per month to take part, or £100 upfront for the full 12 months.

Each month – 6 lucky winners will take home prizes (cash or bar credit).

30% of the pot goes to winners – the rest funds club improvements chosen by YOU!

The more participants, the bigger the prizes – and the more we can invest back into Woolton GC.

Special Bonus: One prepaid 12-month participant who’s a current member will win a FREE 7-day membership for the 2026 season (drawn at Christmas 2025).

Ideas so far include:

Improving the First Tee and surrounding areas

Building a Halfway House or mobile refreshment service
