Very Special Guest Anastasia Walker of BANG BANG ROMEO

“Biggest crowd for an opening act on the main stage in the history of the festival.” – John Giddings, Solo Music Agency / Isle of Wight Festival
“Sheffield soul rock phenomenon who very nearly demolished the entire Blue Fin building with brilliantly brash alt-hits” – NME
In recent years we have asked performers to play only their own material, in this series, we’ll be selecting an icon and inviting you to perform two original pieces, followed by a cover of the artist in question. Don’t forget your instrument, Capichè?
All of this accompanied by some of the finest refreshments served up by some of the best tenders around, with french aperitifs served up by our culinary pals PIG & FIG (menu coming soon), prepare your senses.
Comment below, inbox us on our Writers Club page or show up early on the night to bag a slot. Once you’re done, there will be a beer waiting for you at the bar.
*****The Writers Club, 'brings a chilled out vibe for your Thursday nights. With a real diverse selection of acoustic performances in an intimate venue, along with their policy for original material over traditional open mic night covers, it's a great place for acts to try out new material or revisit old songs. It's also great for those who love music to hang out and appreciate the talents of this great city.' - Elena Katrina, Popped Music, poppedmusic.co.uk, 2015
