MerseyAid is a grassroots organisation committed to providing support to refugees who have been displaced from their homes due to conflict and/or persecution. They equip people with Merseyside, who have often arrived with nothing, with the means to integrate into their community. They have depots around Merseyside where volunteers sort aid that is distributed internationally to refugee camps and also locally to schools and food banks.

MRANG work with asylum seeker and refugee women and their children including victims of trafficking, sexual violence, domestic servitude, other forms of gender based violence and human rights abuses. They aim to provide a loving, family environment for women refugees, asylum seekers and their children where they can receive practical, holistic and effective support. This support will help to transform the lives of women who have undergone great suffering and unjust treatment, helping them to re-establish their dignity and self esteem while recognising their uniqueness and diversity.
