Review of Liverpool Independent Wine Festival
The only negative was the cold. I recommend some space heaters next year. Make sure that you say on next year's advertising that they will be provided, so that people will know that something has been done in advance.

It was a really lovely event overall. Not the cheapest day out but the wine on offer was interesting and there was something for everyone. Venue let it down slightly as it was so cold and just didn’t seem to get better as the day went on.
Also a shame that we couldn’t buy cheese on the day as would definitely have done so.
I’d definitely go again though, but take gloves

Review of Liverpool Independent Wine Festival
Absolutely freezing! Left after an hour as so cold. Couldn’t taste or smell any of the (red) wines properly as they were all ice cold. Very surprised such nice venues would agree to showcase their wines at that temperature! Also all very overpriced- have attended similar events before for only a slightly higher entrance price and all tastings were included. Really disappointed- felt ripped off!

Review of Liverpool Independent Wine Festival
Ticket prices very expensive considering the venue (a freezing cold warehouse which was difficult to find due to the complete lack of notices to indicate where it was. We only found it as we followed the sound of the music)
Tokens for drinks cost £2 each--each little glass of wine was either 1, 2 or 3 tokens!!! There were only about 8 wine stalls there but the music was so loud I struggled to hear the stallholders when they were telling me about the different wines they had.
Couldn't fully enjoy the red wines as they weren't at room temperature - they were chilled because the venue was so cold.
The only food on offer was an oyster stall (1 token each) and a cheese stall which charged 4 tokens for a bit of cheese with a small packet of oat biscuits and some oickles/relishes.
Very disappointed with the whole experience - I'll be sticking to Beer Festivals from now on!

Review of Liverpool Independent Wine Festival
Had a really pleasant time at the Wine Festival on Saturday. I felt there was a good amount of stalls so you had plenty of choice but it wasn’t overwhelming. As it was the first wine festival it was fairly quiet when we arrived at half 12. The live music that started around 3pm was a lovely addition. The venue was absolutely freezing, which is to be expected in November but it didn’t make us want to stay, it also meant that the red wines to taste were at room temperature, but the room temperature was very cold. Overall; a good day out and some lovely wines sampled.

The address on the tickets was wrong so it took us a while to find. The venue was far cold to the point it became uncomfortable and we left early. The ticket prices were a bit expensive for what it was, either reduce the prices or have more stalls/more tokens included. There wasn’t a great atmosphere but I think everyone was too cold!!
