Avoid making a booking here, do not transfer any money as you won't see it again!
Our booking was messed up and we had paid £250 up front. After being promised a refund on two occasions we are still yet to receive our money back.
Booking date 28th Dec.

Review of Big Luv returns
£30 is so overpriced for the ticket! and not worth it at all, drinks extortionate! £26 for a cheap bottle of wine and over £12 for a double vodka, also full of teenagers and you’re only on the roof untill 10 then they kick you to a rammed club downstairs full of under 20s downstairs. also lee butler wasn’t on long it wasn’t worth the price

Review of Eurovision Rooftop Screening
Absolutely not what was advertised. We came to watch Eurovision but couldn't see a thing as the rooftop screen was too low and absolutely tiny. They let too many people in that it was hard to move. We sat at an unreserved table to be told we had to move. There was actually nothing Eurovision themed about this event, it was practically a normal night out with Eurovision as an afterthough in order for them to sell tickets. We were standing at the bar whlist a man complaining about the sound being too low and that no one could see the screen (and rightly so). The barman was so rude to him and was shouting back at him very aggressively. We were mortified to think this poor man would leave with a bad impression of Liverpool because of this awful event. Will not be retuning or recommending to anyone.

Review of Eurovision Rooftop Screening
The speakers weren't working! Some people left in disgust. I think they said they'd been told that the City Council prohibited them from using the ones closest to The Strand side but that really doesn't stand up on Eurovision night.
Thought that the staff did well under the circumstances but the venue was ridiculously over crowded and would have been dangerous if there had been any sort of incident. The management were very lucky that the happy drunks looked after their inebriated friends. If it had been any other event than Eurovision, or the weather had turned, it could have been nasty.

Review of Eurovision Rooftop Screening
We paid a lot to watch Eurovision here, but the view of the screens was poor and the sound wasn't great. The stroppy, entitled people sitting at tables blocked the view and weren't good for the atmosphere. Drink selection was limited and expensive, also not enough bar staff. As mentioned, we had paid to watch Eurovision, but the place was cleared before the winner's performance. Cynical money-grab by the venue.

Review of Eurovision Rooftop Screening
Tickets were a lot of money which we paid to be able to watch Eurovision. The view of the screens wasn't great or well thought out, nor were the speakers, and the stroppy people who had booked tables blocked the view and were generally unpleasant. Drink range was limited and there didn't seem to be enough bar staff. We got kicked out before the winner's performance, again, this was an event billed as being a chance to watch Eurovision, this is what we paid for, so they could've at least let us see the whole thing. Really felt very cynical on the part of the venue, clearly poorly thought-out money-grab.

Review of Eurovision Rooftop Screening
Our party of 7 was very disappointed by the Eurovision Screening at Liberte. The whole reason we, and I'm sure the majority of others, had gone to a screening event was to actually watch Eurovision. However, the layout of the bar and the overselling of tickets meant that 2/3rds of the people there were actually unable to see either of the two screens.
The areas in front of the screens were filled with large tables which were all reserved, so the space was not optimised for viewing. We overheard that you had to pay extra for a table so we'd basically paid £40+ to get onto the roof - if we wanted to see the thing we came to see we would have had to have forked out more...the word 'scam' comes to mind.
In addition to this, we enquired ahead of time whether food would be available. We were told it would be but when we got there we were told it would be too difficult to find us as we weren't seated.
We left after less than an hour and will not be returning for other events. I strongly advise against Liberte for 'viewing' events.

Review of Eurovision Rooftop Screening
We were all crammed in with minimal seating. The seating available was reserved.. we all paid tickets to attend so should have had someone to sit.
The two screens were difficult to see and impossible to hear. Management said that the council had fitted something to limit sound production as it was a residential area. So tickets should not have been advertised or sold for such an event.
When we arrived the staff were rushing to get welcome drinks poured with a crowd of customers stood around waiting.. again the event was advertised to start with a welcome drink so why was the venue not prepared?
Overall the preparation was poor and they clearly weren’t suitable to host such an event. When we complained and spoke with management, after a flurry of excuses he stormed off and refused to speak to us or refund the ticket price.
