Review of A weekend with Mick Miller
i thought Mick Miller was fantastic, still one of the legends of stand up comedy that does not feel the need to swear to be funny, he had the audience eating out of his hand, brilliant entertainment

Review of An evening with Kevin Finn and Friends
A very warm welcome from one of the staff, maybe overly so, but first two drinks (coffees) came as half a cup, tepid and over £5. I asked if they served red bull to which I was told yes, and we even have wings... However when I came to order 2 red bulls I watched as they blatantly filled 2 half glasses with 'boost' from a container showing it cost £1.79 and then I was charged again, just over £5 ... I understand they're a business and need to make a profit but quality of drinks served were poor to say the least. As for the comedy, it was awful, the MC or host whatever he was, dire, not funny at all, but people in the room were laughing so he must have been doing it for them - drinking alcohol obviously helps it all seem funnier... First two 'friends' not funny either... I think there was one joke at the expense of Whitney Houston which I thought was mildly amusing on a dark level, otherwise, really poor... Can't review Kevin Finn as left before he came on it was that bad... Admittedly I am a comedy snob, after hearing some of the best in the world... Sadly, this first experience will possibly mean I won't be returning to laffin lounge... For me personally it was a total waste of my hard earned money.
That said, it was obvious the staff were making the effort to make it the best experience for the punters. (Maybe some extra training on how to use the tills would have proved useful).

Review of An evening with Mick Miller
Firstly, let me say Mick Miller was fantastic. What a professional he is, very funny man.
The venue was very good but a little cramped. The staff behind the bar were lovely.
However the atmosphere was very moody and unsettling. At points the manager had to intervene with two different groups of men.
It didn't spoil my night but improvements are most certainly required.

Review of A night with Crissy Rock
I thought it wasnt the best organised Event we went to. On entry into the place I thought there would of been someone on the door to check your tickets but we just walked in , we were their a good five min's before we were asked for any tickets . The act that was on before Crisy rock didn't turn up ,but nobody didn't say a thing about it at all, so we were left waiting,
On the up side while we were waiting we all got a free shot and then they came around with free chips . When Crisy come on she was good.

Review of Frankie Allen & Friends - WATERLOO
Was told to arrive by 18.45 pm as doors would be strictly closed so arriving at 18.35 only for doors still open at 8pm act didn’t come on until 20.15 pm so was very disappointed the this , the act was very good but I think you need to get your timing right
