Review of Pretenders | Intimate Album Launch Show
The chance to see a band as big as the Pretenders in such an intimate venue and at a bargain price was incredible. Early gig time made travelling home a lot easier for me. Fantastic evening.

Understated venue suited the gig very well. The band was fantastic. Pleased I could take my fish and chips inside! Long and well-staffed bar and (relatively) decent toilets.

A rocking night with a punk vibe too. Wild guitar playing and Chrissie Hynde as astonishingly brilliant, hitting those vocals with that distinctive haunting iconic voice. Should have been included in the V&A Diva show. Fun, emotional and hot. Same can be said about the Cairns Brewery venue.

The Pretenders were fabulous but I don't get why the younger members of the crowd just want to talk and film the concert. It's a one off event enjoy it and absorb it - don't be looking at your phone and posting on Facebook and Instagram ...

It was a really amazing night! The band sounded amazing! Can’t believe her voice! The only disappointment was that there wasn’t a few more of the older hits! Would have loved to have heard ‘Brass in pocket’ and ‘Don’t get me wrong’ atleast. The venue was great, really thought it worked well.
