Review of A Sacred Thing
Thought provoking. I worked in the West Indies from 1973 to 1975 and experienced good and bad racism first hand, neither were comfortable or acceptable. By coincidence with this play, there was a murder trial going on, the local butcher, surname Pemberton was charged.

Review of A Sacred Thing
Intense thought provoking drama about a racist murder and the slow evaluation of justice against a redneck mentality. A story based on a true event. My own real life thoughts stray a little away from total empathy having received racial abuse when working in the West Indies. However, two wrongs don’t make a right and prejudice in any situation is criminal.
Review of A Sacred Thing.
A fantastic play. Thought-provoking and engaging, it deals with issues of race and justice and makes the audience think about the way they make their own decisions. Drew me in just as much as a professional play with its drama and tension.
