Lost and Found Queer Rave #1 - w/ Shay Malt (Adonis) on Saturday 19th September 2020
We are Lost, and we are Found.
We’ve been raving for years at queer nights around the UK and Europe, and we are psyched to bring the best of what we’ve seen to Liverpool. The best music from queer DJs from around the UK and the world, and the finest performers. No cheese, and no attitude. Inclusive for all - this is a LGBTQ-focussed night and we prioritise people who identify as such. L&F is inclusive of all backgrounds, ages, styles and more.
Lose and find yourself in the smoke and strobes.
We are delighted to welcome Shay Malt to our first event. Resident and promoter at London’s iconic Adonis night - Shay’s sets take in the best of house, disco and techno with a defiantly queer angle, and he’s taken his individual sound all over the UK and abroad. Adonis have been throwing down some of the best parties in Europe for the last couple of years - and we’re honoured to invite him up to launch L&F with us.
Guests and residents for Adonis are the best of the best of the underground, and have included Terry Farley, Severino, Daniel Avery, Hannah Holland, Grace Sands, Fiedel, Gideon, Princess Julia, Jaye Ward, Volte-Face, Wes Baggaley, Omer, Andy Butler, Violet, Josh Caffe, Tama Sumo, Roi Perez, Gina Breeze, Jackie House and Leeon.
Backing Shay up are Arondeus and Loss Function: residents and promoters of L&F and also Nexus - one of the north west’s finest inclusive techno nights. Also holding down a radio residency on techno.fm, welcoming guests to the airwaves from around the world: from top-class queer DJs to the best DJs and live acts from rave’s early years for 3 hours every month on techno.fm. They’ve played all over the UK and Europe, including Bucharest, Stockholm and Berlin - bringing their rave-influenced sound from across the musical spectrum to all kinds of unsuspecting crowds.
Our venue is dark, awesome, has a belting Funktion One soundsystem and is very limited capacity, get your tickets early.
LGBTQ-focussed // dress to express or to distress (however you feel best), not to impress // no photos on the dancefloor // body positive // all welcome but do remember it’s a queer space, thanks //
