Liverpool Floating Cinema: Halloween Special on Friday 1st November 2019
The floating cinema returns to the iconic Albert Dock this October with a spooky twist!
This October sees the return of our sell out pop-up floating cinema in association with The Albert Dock… this time with a spooktacular twist! Join us from 24 October – 1 November for a week of your favourite Halloween movies including family favourites Hocus Pocus, Casper, Adams Family and Beetlejuice. If something a little spookier is what you are after then we have you covered with our adult only evening screenings including Rocky Horror Picture Show, Scream, Psycho and Nightmare on Elm Street. We also have a selection of relaxed morning screenings where guests can enjoy the experience with low lighting and volume, no trailers, as well as allowance for increased levels of movement and noise. Our Dock restaurants will also be on hand each screening offering you a delicious array of front row treats, drinks and refreshments. The schedule for films are as follows: Thursday 24 October – Evening – Rocky Horror Picture Show Friday 25 October – Evening – Lost Boys Saturday 26 October – Morning – Hocus Pocus Relaxed Screening Saturday 26 October – Afternoon – Casper Saturday 26 October – Evening – Blair Witch Project Sunday 27 October – Morning – Casper Relaxed Screening Sunday 27 October – Afternoon – Adams Family Sunday 27 October – Evening – Psycho Monday 28 October – Afternoon – Hocus Pocus Monday 28 October – Evening – Nightmare on Elm Street Tuesday 29 October – Afternoon – Beetlejuice Tuesday 29 October – Evening – Paranormal Activity Wednesday 30 October – Afternoon – Beetlejuice Wednesday 30 October – Evening – Rocky Horror Show Thursday 31 October – Afternoon – Adams Family Thursday 31 October – Evening – Hocus Pocus Children permitted Friday 1 November – Afternoon – Nightmare before Christmas Friday 1 November – Evening - Scream ADDITIONAL INFORMATION *Relaxed morning screenings doors open at 10am with film starting at 10.30am *Afternoon screenings doors open at 1pm with film starting at 2pm (except for Sat 26 and Sun 27 afternoon screenings doors open at 2pm with film starting at 3pm) *Evening screenings doors open at 6pm with film starting at 7pm *Whatever the weather the screening will go ahead (unless extreme conditions) *Heating will be provided; however please ensure you wrap up warm. Blankets will be available *No seating is reserved so if you’re travelling in groups please arrive with plenty of time *There will be cover in case of rain *All afternoon showings are child friendly *Adults only for evening screenings (except for 31 October where a family friendly screening will be showing in the evening and children are permitted)
