About

Kaya Fyah, is a British, South African, Jamaican, UK-based vocalist and veteran of sound system culture. Raised in a Junglist household in North London, her musical experiences span diverse landscapes, including Canada, South Africa, New York, and her current residence in vibrant Brighton.

Fyah’s introduction to the stage at 13, alongside the Congo Natty Family, set the pace for her artistic journey. Blending singing, songwriting, and MCing with classic 94 amen breaks, resonating with the roots of Jungle, through to high energy DnB rollers, in a transcendent journey that is both soulful and weighty. Fyah performs with soul and purpose, creating an energetic experience that reflects her multicultural background while raising the vibration of the dance.

Her growth is moving at pace with the release of her latest album ‘1994 – Born In The Jungle’, featuring Skinny Man, Congo Natty, DJ Vadim, Top Cat, Ed Solo, Speaker Louis, Kibir Amlak, Panix & Lionpulse.

Kaya  - "This collective has been brought together to play original jungle, dub and reggae tracks live & direct! We have a mixture of talent from keys, gits, bass, percussion, sax, mc’s & vocalists. For this stretch of shows, we are heavily focused on the adaptation of my debut LP “1994 Born in the jungle”.

So, if you fancy listening to the new generation of jungle, grab yourselves a ticket!

And....for all you bass heads, there'll be an extended ragga jungle DJ set after the band so bring your dancing shoes!! 🔥🔥🔥
