Mouvement Presents Fingerman & Thomas Tuft on Friday 15th September 2017

After the success of our 24 Kitchen Street debut and our sell out summer daytime and after parties, the perfect blend of disco & house returns on Friday 15th September with Fingerman, Thomas Tuft and Mouvement Residents CASS, Max Myer and Bob McTigue.

Fingerman - Hailing originally from Portsmouth in the UK, Fingerman has been spinning tunes since the mid 90′s covering many genres of music. From techno to house, from bass to breakbeat he finally found his niche in the old school sounds of retro-disco and funky vibes.

Fingerman held a vinyl residency at the Casablanca Jazz club in the mid 00′s playing 12″ disco and edits and eventually began his love-affair with the re-edit scene. His tried and tested DJ friendly edits have gained a fast growing fan-base and was recently credited on Wikipedia as a “notable influence” on the Nu-Disco scene alongside stalwart big names such as Greg Wilson & Dimitri From Paris.

Thomas Tuft - With roots in house, jazz, funk, hip-hop & a life long love with Disco Thomas Tuft has Been described as one of the most versatile dj’s of His generation. Thomas broke out of the underground in the early 90s as resident DJ at the Pleasure Dome, a fabled club in the North of England that laid the blueprint for future events like Tribal Gathering and Creamfields. Guests at the club during Thomas’ residency included Carl Cox, Andy Cato, Nick Warren and Laurent Garnier Africa Bambatta, Fabio & Grooverider, LTJ Bukem. Derrick Carter & Luke Solomon to name a few . .

Soon after, Thomas became resident DJ at The Sub Club, sharing a booth with Yousef , Alison Marks and Paul Kane, the latter tempting him to explore Liverpool’s vibrant music scene. Now Director & the senior house & Nu disco buyer for internationally acclaimed 3 Beat Records

Music Genres:

Deep/Soulful House, Disco, Funk, Funky House, House
