Kit Trigg // Leeds on Thursday 5th April 2018
Kit Trigg is music made by friends Kit, on guitar and Nic, on drums. They started their band in Kit's garage, playing thick grooves, heavy and heartfelt guitar, and gospel vocal melodies. That was the groundwork of their style. The band started playing in London. They recorded one single, walked into the reception desk of a radio station and the radio played it that night. Since then, they have played Reading & Leeds Festival, BBC Maida Vale, supported Nick Oliveri, played across the UK and now are ready to release their debut album 'life'. Their influences are mostly The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Nirvana, The Beatles, Rickie Lee Jones, Doyle Bramhall II, Kyuss and Elder. The philosophy is the be good and kind people whjo play even better music. Skateboarding culture is the drive behind their visual art and aesthetic. The more stupid the artwork, the better. 'They’re so talented and exciting in the mix, they are grabbing people by the bollocks and dragging them along with such force it’s not long before the rest of the world is on board too' - Fortitude Magazine
