Fragmented Presents: Hyroglifics / Objectiv / Sl8r + MORE on Friday 19th October 2018

Fragmented Recordings Presents:
19th October 2018 | The Old Red Bus Station, LEEDS | 22:00 - 04:00
We have been cooking this one up over at Fragmented HQ for a while now and so are very happy to present one of the biggest line ups we have put together so far. Hope to see you all in the dance!
Hyroglifics has come correct since stepping out with D&B fringe leviathans, Critical Music, in 2014. The decorated producer has been on his grind; notching up the accolades as one of FACT mag’s ’10 Drum & Bass Producers to watch in 2015′, headhunted for the prestigious Red Bull Academy, and heralded for his debut extended-player on Kasra’s Critical Music with the genre-bending ‘No Drama’ EP in summer 2015.
Off the back of a ground-shaking set at Boomtown’s Bang Hai stage to 15,000-strong crowd, the preeminent noisemaker continues to fortify his standing in 2016 with large scale collaborations on Shogun Audio artist Rockwell’s acclaimed debut long-player; being touted for his thunderously UK sound in Mixmag’s ’16 Artists Who Will Make Your Year in 2016′, and tearing up the Critical Sound residency on London’s RinseFM.
His industrious studio ethic bears the forthcoming ‘All Talk’ EP; a mammoth crossover collaboration with Foreign Beggars, and welcomes him back to Red Bull Academy’s Class of 2016.
Hyroglifics is a gift to the game; challenging the paradigms of 170 BPM music. Carving out a distinctive path for himself well into 2017 and beyond; we can only expect the high-end futuristic freshness to keep flowing from this exciting, young producer.
The best producers are usually the ones that can’t write their own bios. They’re also usually the nicest and most down to earth of the people you meet in the music industry. Felix ‘Objectiv’ Hulbert hits all these qualities, whilst simultaneously producing some of the most amazing music to be found in the world of DnB. How do you describe his sound? Personally: ‘A beautifully orchestrated nonsense’. Get it? Neither do i, but this is Objectiv we are talking about. His track ‘Impact’ spread waves around the scene and since then he has gone from strength to strength releasing consistently blisteringly good music. There’s too many labels to mention, and due to his nature our pal Felix has many friends in the industry who are always up for releasing his unique style of chaotic DnB. SkankandBass, Noisia and most frequently Fragmented recordings are just some of the people behind him. His DJ sets match his calibre behind the computer so make sure you get him down to your next event.
Recent Releases with Lifestyle & Fragmented amongst many others!
Sl8r's been on the DnB scene in Manchester for around 5 years now. Cutting his teeth with Manchester based label Grand Theft Audio, his production have now been picked up by labels such as Delta9, Deep in the Jungle and DJ Marky's new label RSTLSSNSS. He's had support on his tracks from various artists within the scene, having tracks featured on Skankandbass, Critical Music podcast and and recently 2 tracks off his newest EP were played on BBC Radio 1 by Ram Record's Rene Lavice. As a DJ, he's played at some of the biggest nights in Manchester, such as Relapse, Masters of D&B and Metropolis, and supported some of the biggest names in Drum & Bass including Goldie, Randall, Friction and Mefjus.
Dyrekt a.k.a head honcho of Fragmented started producing music after his discovery of the underground music scene and hasn’t looked back since! Starting the label in late 2016 in order to help push the underground sound he had grown to love and help push the artists within the scene and get the recognition they deserve!
His productions, ranging from the deepest, darkest minimal drum & bass to the hardest hitting half time have been receiving support from Skankandbass, Noisia Radio, BBC Radio 1 Xtra as well as many of the heads within the scene!
Recent releases with the likes of Lifestyle, Counterpoint & of course Fragmented!
This 23 year old producer and DJ recently joined the ranks of Fragmented to help with providing you with the best underground Drum & Bass possible! With releases through Skankandbass / C Recordings / Nu Venture Records / Critical Bass Recordings this young producer is beginning to find his way within the drum & bass scene and his DJing ability matches that of his producing capabilities!
Emerging from the North Yorkshire countryside and being a key promoter and resident of Leeds based collective Vision State, Dozen is one to watch in 2018. Having a diverse music taste, though prominently mixing drum and bass and dubstep, has allowed him to collate a unique set list showcasing different sides to the genre. Expect techy flavours with a few surprises along the way as this one definitely doesn't like to be predictable.
Owner of Sub:Freqz, resident DJ for future formation as well as starting to gain connections with big events such as relapse in Manchester amongst others. An absolute menace behind the decks this will be one hectic set!
Subliminal is hands down one of the best MCs in Leeds right now. Drawn into the game through natural talent and raw passion for bass music, he’s an intelligent, versatile host. The man knows when to keep quiet and let the track roll and exactly when to come through with those fire bars, delivered with a wicked flow and touching depth. His skills have been getting him noticed which has earned him three residencies in Leeds for promoters; Overflow, Vision State and Licence to Jungle. He’s also hosted for Jungle Jam, Detonate and Manchester’s We Want, spitting over the likes of S.P.Y., Ivy Lab, Enei, Loxy, Benny Page, Bladerunner, Voltage, Data 3, Revaux and Precision. If you’re looking for the perfect host to lay down some fire and get the crowd amped all the way up, stop looking; you found him.
A well known figure behind the mic within the northern scene, currently residing within the Manchester region this young MC certainly knows his way around the microphone, regularly holding down proceedings for events such as Future Formation. You're in safe hands when this man is on the scene.
