Silverfish + Bill Hetta / Shoddy Merchant / Lazy Suzan on Friday 17th February 2023
SILVERFISH
https://soundcloud.com/user-780018824
Heartthrobs, boy-band, rockstars…In that order.
Silverfish are a British 4 piece band on the rise from Leeds, playing distinctly electrifying indie-rock tunes taking influence from the likes of FOALS, Radiohead, and The Smiths. Combining elements of compelling guitar riffs, explosive drumming, surreal bass-lines, and greatly fanatical lyricism, Silverfish creates an exciting buzz of commotion to remember, and are an act with serious (sort of) plans ahead of themselves. Your favourite band you haven’t heard of.
BILL HETTA

A is Post-Grunge 3 piece from Leeds. They're live performances have proven to be ferocious, and their energy can't be matched. Taking inspiration from the likes of shoegaze and extreme metal, Bill Hetta strive to modernize alt-rock the sound.
SHODDY MERCHANT
Listen > https://tinyurl.com/y9xwtnfp
A jangle spangled three piece band. Expect to hear bright ringing chords, melodic harmonies and a collection of light and dark material held together by an infectious tongue in cheek humour.
The sound this accomplishes could be compared to The Bug Club, Bull, The Stones and Arctic monkeys though none of these are a perfect fit. It seems most of the audience can derive a whole host of different comparisons with any two rarely being the same.
LAZY SUZAN
A Garage rock band from Leeds that play in a raw style with fat fuzz toned riffs and motorcade drum beats. They take influence from the likes of The Stooges, Joy Division, The Strokes PJ Harvey and The White Stripes.
