Morning Session / City Snakes / High Fly / Until Joy on Friday 3rd March 2023
MORNING SESSION
https://youtu.be/hQ0iYIgZ5ow
A rock band, heavily influenced by the likes of Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age and Royal Blood. Composed of five uni students who each hold strong passions for creating eclectic and infectious sounds that are sure to get any crowd moving.
This Leeds based five piece creates the perfect balance between alternative and hard rock. Their talent on stage and in the studio is second to none, captivating listeners from all around.
“You’d be a “Criminal” not to see these guys live, very promising future ahead”
CITY SNAKES
https://youtu.be/iipk0ijK6oE
“City Snakes are shaping up to be a truly great British rock band. They have power, volume, an abundance of musical talent, and some great songs. Once again the drummer showed an obscene level of skill with the sticks. The band incorporates punk elements, funk elements (a la Red Hot Chili Peppers), and heavy rock (a la Def Leppard). This is a band that deserves to be huge.” – With Just A Hint Of Mayhem
A rock band hailing from York, their raw and chaotic mix of influences is sure to produce a sound quite unlike anything else in today's scene. With their approach to writing music being the live audience in primary consideration, their live shows are a spectacle to behold. This is a band that is going to play arenas and will not stop till they do!
HIGH FLY
https://youtu.be/LF0-5_Fi8Eo
An alternate indie/rock band from Essex studying at Leeds conservatoire with a big passion for music but most importantly are four Best friends who are having fun on stage showing their passion to the audience. With our big energy on stage we get the crowd moving.
UNTIL JOY
https://youtu.be/bGDhQYGMaUE
A high energy three piece from the heart of the north consisting of Joel Taylor on vocals and guitar, Lydia Tregay on bass and vocals and Sophie Savage on drums. With an emphasis on catchy riffs, soul-slamming drums and slick basslines all tied together with powerful vocal performances they create their own unique rock sound.
“Though the band members each bring their own take to Until Joy’s skewed-rock sound, they are united in their appreciation of thick riffs, heavy grooves and catchy hooks.” – Karl Eden (Head of Music - Over Hill Event)
