AMP'D Road Trip Cabin Boy Jumped Ship, Red Method on Friday 13th March 2020
The inaugural Amplified 'Road Trip' aims to showcase the best in U.K. talent whilst supporting the national grassroots music scene and those venues that host the 'big' bands before they get to headline the Academies, Arenas and Festivals.
We're taking 3 bands out on the road to a town or city near YOU with a local act chosen for each show. Appearing at all dates are...
CABIN BOY JUMPED SHIP from Leicestershire are joining us as headliners. They're sure to get the party started so hold on to your hats and lets go!
Described as equal parts a modern metalcore band and a digital electronic music collective in one unit with harsh bass heavy Dubstep and Synthesizer sounds and more familiar metallic groove riff breakdowns that are seamlessly blended. The band of 4 musicians seek to create and inspire fresh new music that crosses over multiple styles and genres without sticking to a set formula.
The UK scene has responded well to the bands new approach as within the four years of forming from nothing CBJS had shared stages with bands as eclectic and diverse as Silverstein, Attila, Eskimo Callboy, Oceans Ate Alaska, The Five Hundred, The Unguided, The Algorithm and Bleed From Within, amongst many others.
The band have made a name for themselves with a powerful stage presence and live shows that have often descended into party style chaos from the energetic audiences.
Having performed worldwide at known festivals such as Download Festival and Impericon Festival the band have acquired a passionate and dedicated fanbase through dedication, constant fan interaction and regular memorable performances all across the UK and Europe.
After two EPs, sold out shows and international tours under their belt their debut album 'The Heartless' is out now so get ready U.K. for CABIN BOY JUMPED SHIP are coming...there's no time for innocence!
'atmospheric electronics, juddering breakdowns and sing-a-long choruses' KERRANG!
RED METHOD formed from the ashes of Meta-Stasis and The Defiled, erupted onto the scene creating an immediate buzz in a very short space of time appearing at numerous festivals across the UK during the summer this year.
The Method was painted with his own blood. The Method is Red. We are RED METHOD and we are coming to make our mark. Tech, Death and Progressive Metal melded to incite the masses.
Their debut album 'For The Sick' is released to coincide with this tour was produced by Scott Atkins (Grindstone Studios - Cradle Of Filth, Amon Amarth, Monuments, Sylosis). Containing carefully crafted songs that contain huge grooves and monstrous hooks which translate immaculately to the live arena...and that's where these guys should be playing!
