Review of Chow Down
Booked ten tickets for my fortieth birthday, 7.30-10.30. We didn't get admitted until 7.45, and with no apology from any of the staff. We were seated, ordered food and drinks, and then waited for the party atmosphere to kick in. It didn't. The venue was half empty, there was no entertainment. The only saving grace was the food provided by the independant traders was nice. After an hour, we all decided to head off somewhere else. Having paid for tickets I feel cheated. Myself and my guests all agreed we wouldn't recommend Chow Down to anyone.

Review of Chow Down
Great venue, cool atmosphere, good music. Having been to pergola in London several times, I think prices were actually a lot better down south which is very surprising. Firstly, tickets are incredibly overpriced for what you get, and the free drink is a very watered down aperol. The food and drinks inside is so overpriced too, I enjoyed my halloumi starter, but the pasta I was given was genuinely shocking, literally like school food and watery. So not impressed by Sarto- couldn’t complain as wasn’t sure how it would work with the ordering system. My boyfriend’s Vietnamese food was also bland and unflavousome- not what you expect from a cool food truck/festival vibe! If it was cheaper tickets or free entry I would definitely go again as was quite a cool venue, but just far too overpriced for what it’s worth.

Review of Chow Down
Been coming to chow down every month since it opened and I love it. Just very expensive (both for drinks and food) and could do with having a fruity cider on offer as the mango/passion fruit beers that are on at the moment are very heavy and bloating. Still love it though
