360 Club & Gus alt-J present on Thursday 31st January 2019

Purple Thread

https://youtu.be/oBsVE-efESo

'It’s funk as played by a 70s’ New York punk band. It’s a raging maelstrom of sound. It is, and I mean this most sincerely, fucking incredible.' - Local Sound Focus

“[Purple Thread] wow the crowd with their fantastic blend of indie rock'
-Christian Carlisle, BBC Introducing

'The band leave you wanting more but only once you’ve had a chance to catch your breath and maybe a bit of a sit down.' -Listen With Monger

'Liz Mann’s vocals have much of the nonchalant hard-arse sass of peak Blondie Debbie Harry, complete with Harry’s richer tone. This is a voice that could go far.' - Halfway 2 Nowhere

A funky punky glitter-drenched rock n' roll band from Leeds. Rattling through live performances taking audiences on a magical mystery ride swirling through a genre-defying sea of glittery, groovy noise, rapidly forging a name for themselves as one of the most energetic and captivating live bands on the circuit.

Purple Thread will be releasing their new single 'Something Good' for Independent Venue Week, with an exclusive physical release available at this gig!

It will then be available on all major streaming and download platforms on the 4th Feb’ 2019

Edited People

“Effortlessly shifting from this lifting yelping, to this lovely frankly smooth thing, to a kick arse rock vocal. It’s a beautiful captivating performance that drills its way into your head.” – Local Sound Focus

https://youtu.be/pR6PbAK9IvU

They recently played their debut gig, which was also sold-out, at 360 Club in Leeds, which was co-hosted by Alan Raw (BBC Introducing).

The gig was a big success and was Edited People’s first huge footprint on the scene.

Despite only performing together for a year they have grabbed the attention of BBC Introducing who have championed them and had them in to play a live session, one of the tracks being 'Feel My Skin' which was released in October, receiving much praise from music press.

Their next single “Midnight” will be released on the 11th January. Expect 90s ‘No Doubt’ mixed with other heavier rock influences.

inFade

“Like a love child of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Rage Against The Machine, InFade deliver a great start to their career.” - Denim + Leather Mag’

Combining heavy riffs with flowing melody. Think Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters and Audioslave. Following their single launch 'Hearts' inFade return to 360-club to celebrate independent venue week in their hometown.

'If you like loud punchy rock and sexy bass riffs this is the band for you”

Gus alt-J DJ Set
