Downtown Disco with Dave Lee March 2025

Dave Lee (FKA Joey Negro / AKA Akabu / AC Soul Symphony / Sunburst Band / and the man behind Z Records) is headlining our next event on March 22nd.

Dave’s been a guest artist we’ve been waiting to play since we launched, so we’re delighted to finally have him come to entertain our Downtown Disco family. It’s been a long wait!

Dave has been ever-present in the dance music industry since his Rough Trade and Rhythm King days, remixing for many great artists from Grace Jones and Lionel Richie to Roxy Music and Roisin Murphy. He’s curated huge dance chart hits as part of Jakatta and worked alongside the likes of Nile Rodgers, Daft Punk, Jamiroquai and Dimitri From Paris, keeping the disco fire burning bright into the 21st century. 

He’ll be joined by resident DJs Ian Ossia and Lisa Jane for a five-hour journey through disco, funk, house and all that good stuff you’ve come to know and love. 

As usual for us, the event runs from 10pm-3am at the amazing HiFi club in the heart of Leeds.
