Surefire Affair / Flukes / What Howls / Lynchs on Friday 16th February 2018
Formed in 2017, they've made an impressive entrance onto the Leeds music scene.
With catchy melodies, addictive guitar riffs, prominent bass licks and punchy, driving drumbeats, they have a style that is as charismatic as it is captivating.
From ballads such as 'Alternative Plans' to anthemic tracks like 'The 15th Time' you'll find yourself still singing along for days afterwards.
A 5-piece indie rock band with a northern soul reflected by political lyrics and powerful music.
Rhythmic tunes that, while pleasant on the ear, pack a meaningful punch with exploratory lyrics on current issues. It's a niche not all bands can pull off, but Flukes do it so well.
“This indie five-piece from West Yorkshire are a bit of a northern powerhouse. With lyrics about politics, racism and sexism, they will be bringing plenty of energy to accompany their bluesy, alt rock tunes.” - The Harriets
Well-crafted indie rock
A four piece from Leeds - born out of listening to far too much guitar music and new to the scene - expect distorted guitars, smashed drums with well-crafted melodic vocals.
Originating from Wigan. Their talent and refusal to settle for less are qualities that set them apart from the mundane. An exciting, post-punk sound, underpinned with words depicting the ‘2017 everyday’; LYNCHS are a band not to be missed.
Music Genres: Alternative, Blues, Indie, Rock
