360 Club presents > Fold / Rogan / Luna Pines / Samuel D on Friday 1st September 2017

'Possibly one of the best albums this year' Huey Morgan, BBC 6 Music”

'So Interesting, so original' Dave Rowntree, Blur / XFM

'Witty and satisfyingly groove led' The Guardian

'A Grand funky number.' NME

Record store day 2017 saw them invited to play a live session for BBC 6 Music

A funk & hip-hop influenced experimental four-piece who’ve released a brilliant debut album.

In a vein similar to Public Enemy, DJ Shadow and more recently Public Service Fold carefully weave both the natural spoken rhythms and eloquence of many voices past and present into a unique tapestry of hip hop, funk, jazz and psychedelic rock threads.

“Note to self, don’t get a better producer than you to remix one of your tracks” - Jon Kennedy

“Song of the summer” - BBC Introducing Manchester, about ‘Worry’

Electronic music producer and remix artist based in Leeds making cinematic electronic music heavily influenced by trip-hop, dubstep and house music, and has played in venues including La Factory De Moulin Rouge in Paris, Soundwave Festival in Croatia and many warehouse events.

Rogan has spent a lot of 2017 working on new material ready for a release in the summer and is expecting to debut these new tunes at this gig with 360 Club in September.

Luna Pines

“The kind of record that unfurls with each listen, revealing new facets on each play, we absolutely love it here.’ - Alan Raw, BBC Introducing (about debut single, Off Your Island).

They mix ambient electronics and polished dream pop together to create their wonderful sound.

‘Rather pleasant and ambient gentle alt-rock’, ‘The last song left us on a good high’ - Manchester Rocks

Since getting together only last September, they’ve supported the legendary post-rock giants 65daysofstatic at a sold out Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen as their first show.

Samuel D

'That's a monster of a record.' - BBC Introducing (Alan Raw) about ‘Entropy’

Emerging onto the electronic scene with a refreshingly, unique approach.

The way in which he blends, manipulates, re-samples and processes field recordings creates a prominent, stand-alone sound untouched by the alternative electronic genre thus far.

When these recordings are then blended with his experienced classical/ film score-esque composition and beautiful sound design, it creates music that is aesthetic and colourful, conjuring rich, vibrant mental imagery.
