Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Was a waste of money, huge queues for the three rides they had. The food and drink was ridiculously expensive. And half the things advertised were not there .

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Morning
Brought my 18 month old son and it was lovely for an hour, slightly overwhelming for him as he's so young but will definitely consider returning when he's older.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Morning
We had a lovely morning with friends. Great for young children up to age 11, they enjoyed the crafts, activities and rides. Good selection of food and drink. Could have done with some bigger rides/ activities for older children. Staff were all lovely and friendly and enhanced the experience. We also visited the butterfly House and mini zoo as part of the ticket.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Perfect venue if delivered well.
Too cramped inside tents for buggys and children.
Got charged 3.00 for another sand art card when they were tiny.
Thought everything was free inside!!!
11.00 pound per adult to do nothing was outrageous. ..
My grandson actual only did craft tent for 16.00 pound.
I was charged 7.00 for parking but everyone was getting it free...
I cant find an email address to write to for that.
When we were queuing to go in . Characters walked the line but you never saw them again which was a shame for the kids.
Queues for children rides huge and why only 3.
Very expensive poorly managed and badly set up

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Very little food options, long queues for everything and nothing for older children. Spent £55 for a family of four to then spend more money. Left after an hour. Really disappointed. Felt like it was just a money grabbing opportunity. Not everything that was advertised was available. Kids were bored.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Absolutely amazing event. The kids loved it and there was so much to do. The kids ticket is all inclusive of activities which is amazing and makes it such good value for money. Another amazing event from the HP team. 😁

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Cost me £72 for a family of 5 (3 adults, 2 kids). This didn't include a Santa visit. Got an email on the day to say dogs weren't allowed despite it not being mentioned anywhere before this. This meant my husband had to stand outside whilst we went in.
The 'main event arena' was squashed into a small area and was absolutely rammed. The attractions were all housed in small tents, and we couldn't get in to even see what was happening, let alone take part. The offering was crafts, more crafts, crafts with Olaf and story telling, so firmly aimed at toddlers. There were 3 fairground rides, only one I'd say was suitable for over 6's and the queue was huge. I'm sure the acrobatics was good, but we couldn't get in to see it.
Everything else on offer you could visit without paying for a ticket- doughnut stand, pizza stand, cafe-oke, storytelling tent near the memorial, Christmas market (though this was closed due to high winds) and the usual monument/butterfly house/mini zoo, so I wouldn't waste your money.
We left the paid-for event after 20 minutes. I'd describe it as a hugely overpriced village fete.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
We had a good time and would come again but we didn't feel there was enough to do for the ticket price. I think adults should be free or half the price we paid. Kids £10.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Definitely not worth the money, big queues to get in the domes, hardly anything on, apparently markets was closed on the Sunday and where was the maze I don't think it catered to all ages, lasted an hour went home, waste of money

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
The Big Christmas Day out was good but we wouldn't go again, our daughter is nearly 9 and we found the activities/rides were too young for her the only thing she was interested in was the aerial/acro display and it was too full for her to see anything, but it was good that with the entry wrist band you could go in the butterfly house and the mini zoo so all was not lost she enjoyed that. It was well promoted and organised but it just wasn't our thing.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Really disappointed with the event. Brought my 2.5 year old and 10 month old. For the money we spent there wasn't actually much going on. Lots of craft tents which were too busy to take part and a total mess.
They enjoyed the hartbeeps and the swing ride but honestly I could have done that any time for much less money. Olafs igloo was a huge let down, not actually anything to do there and it was obvious that it was trying to sound good but have zero budget.
All of the staff were friendly, and the park looked great but unfortunately was style over substance. I paid £8 for two hot chocolates which were described as luxury but were basically hot water with whip cream on top and went straight in the bin. Told all of my friends to avoid and won't book again next year sorry
