Review of Santa\'s Winter Wonderland

Took 4 children so spent over £50 on tickets, absolute waste of money! Looking at all these other reviews I can see I’m not the only one who thought so. As others have said, we were in and out in 15 mins, tinsel the elf was the highlight and Santa’s costume was good quality but he didn’t speak much, no one had advised about the stairs down from Mrs claus’s Toy room and I almost fell down the stairs as it was so busy, then had to struggle down with my sons pram, whilst trying to watch the other kids. Pound shop presents & cheap selection boxes. 1 of the kids with me is lactose intolerant so couldn’t have hers anyway! I think these complaints need to be addressed and we deserve some contact from the events organisers & a refund. Basically you took our money promising a great Santa experience and delivered a poor excuse and have left a lot of very unhappy customers. 😡

this was supposed to be a 45 minute Santa experience, we had 5 minutes with Santa who didn't say much, we were then sent to Mrs Claus who was lovely and my son got to pick a gift from a table, all pretty cheap stuff - we were in and out within 15 minutes. Very disappointing and definitely won't be booking for next year

Wonderful experience for xmas for the whole family. Staff were excellent and the whole atmosphere at the castle was magical. Will definitely be booking next year

Thank you so much for putting a big smile on my daughters face today xx even though santas grotto was fully booked in advance the kind staff arranged for my daughter to have a special hello visit from father christmas himself and his elf through the sparkling snowy scene. First and last time to visit Santa at the castle. 10 to 15 mins tops. Some foam snow, which, frankly I've had more when washing up, 3 large Christmas themed inflatables and the sparkly and snowy scene was lacking in both sparkle and snow. A selection box from Santa and then told to choose a cheap toy, which you can buy from the Range for a few pounds, by an elf in the so called workshop. Not much thought by the organizers. Very disappointing for the price

Really disappointed with this - much overpriced for the reality of what was just a glorified visit to Santa. The advertised elves’ workshop and singing with Mrs Claus never materialized and we were in and out in 10 minutes. Overall, very, very disappointing and we left feeling as though we had been ripped off. This could have been so much better - if only it had been as described.

wasn't that great an experience and a little rushed. The write up made it sound a lot better than it actually was. will try somewhere else next year. sorry guys.

The doors were shut and because there was no signs telling us where to go we walked around the castle looking for an entrance.
The markets and winter wonderland was shut because of the weather only the Grotto was open. The gift was a cheap unwraps selection box worth a £1 and a photo mount, & a cheap gift to pick from Mrs Claus.. The refreshments at the end were for sell at a price too. The stairs also a problem with a pushchair a 2 children. Very disappointed for the price.

Santa in an old prison, not exactly what childhood dreams are made of. The elf at the beginning was good and put a lot of effort in. Thought the price was a bit dear for an unwrapped selection box and a present you pick yourself worth about £1.

Loved the set up it was 'all very festive looking . The elves Mrs santa and Santa himself all interacted well with each and every child. We went after dark that added to the atmosphere beautiful all lit up. A suggestion for the gift would be to have sweet selection box such as a Haribo option for children like my daughter who are dairy free and unable to enjoy the chocolate gift.
But overall she loved her experience .

Great santa, Mrs Claus and elf they were so welcoming, my little boy lovedit. I would highly recommend going to see.

Kids enjoyed it, staff were lovely but I think value for money was not great, a bit rushed and cold inside.
