Really great event! Great location, brilliant atmosphere.
The only disappointing thing is that they ran out of everything on the menu except for popcorn chicken and chips from literally just an hour after opening! We went predominantly for the food so it was a big disappointment and quite honestly not good enough! We can assume it’s because it was the last evening of the winter event but a real shame and would put us off from going on the last night. Also the draft beer ran out too and they tried to charge the same for a bottle as a pint which is also not good enough!!
The DJ was brilliant and the fake snow machine made the night perfect, great event but they must do better on the food and drink front!

Great night out. Food was great (bit pricey) drink was limited and more expensive than comparisons locally. Nearly £11 for a 300ml bottle of bud and a mulled wine!!
A pint in the Kingston German market is £5.80

Despite great music & venue, I had hoped for more food choices, so would not recommend to most friends. We however enjoyed our evening despite the cold. Two out of 5 heaters were not working which did not help.

We are big fans of The Barn and their ethos and vision. We are local and always want to support local businesses, so often come for the delicious pastries and coffee. The Food trucks that are booked are always spot on. Perhaps we aren’t the target demographic for this event but all I can say is that we feel ripped off and disappointed.
For the money we paid, we feel it’s not good value at all. We purchased VIP tickets to include a “main meal” Only option was a sandwich. Menu limited on the whole - no Mac and Cheese. This disappointment was echoed by people in the queue. Not all heaters were working so very cold where we sat. We felt the event was not on brand with The Barn. Perhaps an event hosted by one of the other amazing food trucks that we’ve tried at The Barn would be a great idea. Appreciate that some would have enjoyed the event but just felt compelled to review because our night was a complete let down.

Review of Poor Boys Winter Village
Another great night at the KT9 barn for Poor Boys event. Only thing I could complain about would be they run out of a couple of items on the menu within a couple of hours of opening, it was the opening night you’d expect high level of stock, that being said there was still plenty of amazing things to eat and it encouraged us to try some new things!
