Christmas Jazz

Originally from the United States, Mike has lived in England for more than 30 years and has appeared live and on record with an array of international artists including A-ha, Steve Winwood, Paul Carrack, Jack Bruce, David Bowie, Elton John, Tom Jones, Bob James, Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Wishbone Ash, Asia, Bono, Dr. John, 21 Guns, Joss Stone, Beverly Knight, Mica Paris and many more. Mike is currently the drummer with jazz-funk group Redtenbacher’s Funkestra.

 Piers Green is a versatile freelance saxophonist, session musician, producer, and composer based in London. He is the co-founder of Mattari Music, an independent music project focused on innovative and collaborative works. In addition to his work with Mattari, Piers has performed extensively across the UK, London, and Europe, playing as a sideman with various acclaimed Jazz and Funk ensembles. His credits include Redtenbacher’s Funkestra, The Snitch, Crowd Company, Emm Gryner, Frazey Ford, the Tom White Septet, Clark Tracey Sextet, Paul Jordanous Quintet, and the Kieron Garrett Quartet.
