U2-2
U2 2 are the world's longest-running tribute to U2. Formed in 1992, these look-a-like / sound-a-likes are the real deal, with over 2000 shows performed, across three continents. They were known as 'Achtung Baby' throughout the nineties and regularly performed at sell-out shows across Europe and beyond.
Having performed alongside U2 at Feyenoord Stadium, the band: is known to be the closest-sounding tribute to U2 anywhere in the world. A fact backed up with praise from Bono, U2 staff members, Edge's cousin and the most ardent of U2 fans.
U2 have even kindly given the band some of their musical instruments from previous world tours to use. U2 2 play with U2’s exact backline, so the sound really is a part of U2 and their vast history. Recording their own sequences in their own studio ensures, guaranteeing the most accurate representation of U2's album & live sounds. Such is the closeness of U2 2's live sound and look, they have constantly been mistaken for the real U2 throughout the last quarter of a century.
The band have performed in many historical venues over the years, including; Dublin's Point Depot, to a packed hall, SilverStone Race track, Sheffield Arena, Don Valley Stadium South Yorkshire, Coventry's Ricoh Stadium with The Bootleg Beatles and even flown to a private Island just off the coast of Monaco to wow massive audiences. They have also performed alongside UB40, The Lightning Seeds, Soul II Soul and did we mention U2?
National Television, Radio and media have documented the band countless times they've been voted number one sound-a-like tribute with many music industry awards, won a final place on ITV's Stars in their eyes and also been featured in a Jarvis Cocker video. Their past clients include not only BBC1 and ITV1, but also RTE, SKY, Blackberry (U2 360 tour) Air TV, SilverStone F1, Pernod-Ricard, Olympics (chosen to perform for The Irish team's fanbase in London) and they've also raised funds for Mencap, Amnesty International, Help for Heroes, The Irish Cancer funds and many more.

AKA Noel Gallagher
In March 2015, the second Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds album, “Chasing Yesterday” was released, & after years of deliberation, Matt put together a band to recreate the former Oasis leader's songs & shows, & fulfill a long held dream of playing a whole set of Noel's songs.
Since the band started gigging they’ve played to thousands of people at festivals, music venues, bars & pubs across England, Wales & Scotland, as well as a New Year's event in Dubai in 2022.
With Matt on vocals & guitars, the band is Tom (keyboard & backing vocals), Stefan (bass), Mal (drums & backing vocals) & Sean (guitars).
The only tribute name-checked by The Chief himself....
