Glass Phantoms / ROBOTS WITH SOULS / The Spiratones tickets

We are kicking off the years gigs with a Friday night home fixture at Ruskins, and as always, we are bringing some top tier bands along for the ride. This time we're bringing a couple of the finest Cumbria has to offer, two we've found on our travels over the last year. A great range of sounds, and all from the same county.

Robots With Souls- Carlisle's one man sonic assault, I've seen it live and still don't fully understand how he does it. Heavy, dancey, raw. Think Death From Above 1979 meets The Kills.

The Spiratones- Ulverston's moody surf riffmasters, genuinely impossible not to groove to. I'd been obsessed with their track Toecutter for about a year before I knew they were from round here and shared our practice room.

Glass Phantoms- If you're seeing this event page you're probably one of our mates anyway so know what we do. Kendal's premier desert rock band with a guy called Gary in it. We play big bluesy riffs and shout a lot.
