The dj only played what he liked. There was only 4 people there all night. Later, the DJ's friends arrived. It was like their own private party; It was a dead atmosphere. Wash out!

Unfortunately it was very quiet, less then 20 people turned up, and 6 were my group! We had to buy tickets,, just for entry, which I think were expensive for what it was. The music was definitely not "sophisticated", it was house, and garage, and when we asked the DJ to change it, as all 7 people there were not enjoying what he was playing, he did so only after my husband had to insist with him, and pointed out that we were really not enjoying it. As soon as a few more people turned up, he changed it again, which is pretty much when we left. The venue was lovely, and the drinks were good and reasonable priced, but I definitely wouldn't go to another event, or recommend it. It still could have been a lot of fun, if only the music was decent, and playing for the taste of the people that did attend.

I am quite a bit over 25 but found the music way too loud, no chance of a conversation! very crowded in a small room and took an eternity to get served at the bar.

We had a fab night at Sophisticated. Misic was on point, venue was stylish and local and the crowd was there to party. Non-stop dancing to old skool tunes enjoyed by everyone who attended. Looking forward to returning next month!

There were not alot of “ club classics” played or R n B..... it was all hardcore garage!!!
Which to be honest the “ over 30,s” could not dance too, so we went back upstairs!!!!
