Live music is back with a bang as tickets for an all day Indie gig in Hull have gone on sale.

Headlined by 90’s Britpop icons NORTHERN UPROAR, the bill also features the hottest new indie bands and performers from around the UK.

Taking place at the established live music venue O’Rileys in the heart of the City, the event features nine live performers including two of the current hottest unsigned bands in the UK - THE VOYD and THE SHERATONS.

THE SUPERLATIVES are a hard hitting indie rock n roll band with a string of huge tunes perfect for playing live.

THE JONNY ASH BAND, from Wrexham, are ready to unleash their intense rock n roll sound.

Solo performers include the hotly tipped INDOOR FOXES and the talented JESS KEMP, whose live stream performances have been a huge hit over lockdown.

HAWKE THE BAND are an indie pop band who combine their anthemic rock influences with contemporary sounds. Lead singers Richard Power & Eoghan Mac Mahon offer a hopeful, anthemic flavour of indie pop.

New Scottish band AUDIOTOWN are destined for big things and we introduce local artist JOE SMITH who is making his live debut in his hometown.

Indie Rocks! Radio DJ PAUL HOLMES will also be in the house playing non stop indie anthems inbetween sets.

Britpop icons NORTHERN UPROAR are making a rare live appearance to headline the Indie All Dayer. The band released a string of Top 40 singles in the mid to late 90’s including 'Rollercoaster', 'Any Way You Look', 'Town', 'From A Window', 'Livin' It Up', 'A Girl I Once Knew' and 'Goodbye'.

THE VOYD are widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects on the UK indie scene, Sunderland band THE VOYD have released a string of energetic singles, with tens of thousands of Spotify listeners. Hear their fast paced, melodic indie anthems live.

Seeing a meteoric rise through TikTok and the release of their singles ‘The Angler’ and ‘Stardog’ over lockdown, THE RILLS have emerged as a stand-out artist, hotly tipped for great things in 2021 and beyond.Championed by BBC Introducing as a keen one to watch, the band earned a spot on BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2021, debuting their to be released single, ‘World Leader’.

Leeds band THE SHERATONS produce a wide range of guitar based indie-rock. One of Leeds and indeed Yorkshire’s fastest growing bands, their releases have been cherished by Steve Lamacq at BBC 6 Music.

The three piece Yorkshire based indie rock n roll band THE SUPERLATIVES are incredible live - with a passionate following and great songs The Superlatives are sure to tear the roof off.

Since the release of their ‘Blurry Vision’ EP, the Wrexham based JONNY ASH BAND have received strong support on social media. Their incredible songwriting and huge sound is perfect for a live show.

Featured and hailed by BBC Radio 1 and BBC Scotland, INDOOR FOXES is an artist from the heart of Edinburgh. She mixes retro synths with modern beats to make her unique but funky sound. Her release ‘Peach Stone’ featured on national radio and press with her Scottish accent coming through electric guitars and synths.

Dubbed the ‘Female Ed Sheeran’, JESS KEMP was a nominee for ‘Best Unsigned Female’ in the Best Of British Unsigned Music Awards. Jess’s music is a well known token of the Manchester emerging music scene and her acoustic driven, heartfelt and catchy songs make Jess one not to miss when performing live.
