SHINOBI X GET DOWN
Saturday 14th March
LINEUP - >>
With over 20 years of experience as a DJ and producer, Serum’s understanding of the history of D&B shines through in everything he does. It’s no surprise he’s the artist of choice when it comes to bringing a classic up to date, having worked his remix magic for legends like Roni Size, Dillinja, Mampi Swift and Ray Keith.
It's been a massive couple of years for Serum, winning 'Best Alternative Artist' at the 2018 DNB Awards and 'Best Jungle Producer' at the 2017 We Love Jungle Awards. If that wasn't enough his, 'Kings of the Rollers' project with Bladerunner and Voltage has seen them play to some of the biggest dnb crowds in the world at Boomtown, Rampage, Hospitality in the Park and many more.
Serum has put out more D&B/Jungle music out than pretty much anyone in the last 18 months with Blow Them Away feat. Inja being a highlight for 2017! We're so hyped to be bringing Serum back to Hull!
Mungo's Hi Fi:
Known all around the world for their infectious deep reggae & dubstep sounds, the good ship Mungo will be travelling down from Glasgow and it will be delivering a bountiful cargo full of sub-bass frequencies and nasty dubplates!
The past few years has seen nothing but success for the Mungo's Posse, whether it's hosting stages at Glastonbury & Outlook Festival, running their own killer record label or touring the globe playing sold out shows wherever they go. You know that when Mungo's are in town a ramjam session is guaranteed!
Inja the massively versatile artist with a love for cooking and wordplay. Known for hyping crowds across any and every style of music from Jazz to Drum and Bass and everything in between. When solo Inja provides the ‘Page to a Rave’ show where anything goes from poetry, reggae, hiphop, grime drum and bass and anything that brings vibes. The show is known for bass tears laughter dancing and smiles.
As well as running creative writing workshops, he hosts for the DMC World Championships, the legendary Dj Die and his two time Redbull Culture Clash winning Gutterfunk label and regular feature with hip hop reggae-inspired Dj Vadim. A resident host to Warning and Hospitality drum and bass events across the UK and EU. You may also see Inja at a wide variety of poetry, music events and festivals across the uk and worldwide working with a huge range of beautiful music bringing a smile to your face and some bass to you're cheeks!
